CCADS were invited to sing Christmas carols in full victorian costume on December 8th 2006 to welcome guests at the opening of the Royal Artillery Christmas Ball at the MOD centre, Thorney Island. We all gathered at Ralph and Maria’s house to get into costume and were then picked up by a minibus and escorted to the Military base where we performed a selection of popular carols, to music prepared by our musical director Roger Symes. After the event, we were treated to drinks and mince pies before being transported back to the Pegden household where we all enjoyed a surprise birthday party for John-Paul.
