Convinced  that the cure for his father’s mental illness lies in the separation of man’s evil nature from his good, Dr  Henry Jekyll unleashes his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of 19^th Century London as the savage and murderous Edward Hyde.

Pure, pulse-pounding  theatre, with a lush romantic score,  this musical version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic gothic tale  was hailed as a modern classic even before its smash-hit Broadway run.

CCADS is delighted to have secured  the long-awaited amateur rights to this much-loved modern classic of the Broadway stage.  We are also very excited that it will mark our first show at the New Theatre Royal since 2003’s record-breaking Christmas show, “SCROOGE - The Musical”. A large cast will be assembled as part of this vivid new production which promises to be an emotional, visual and vocal feast .a real  theatrical event!
