CHRISTMAS 2006 . . . Louisa May Alcott’s
LITTLE WOMEN
A New Adaptation by Emma Reeves
Past Christmases have seen CCADS present acclaimed productions of “PETER PAN”, “THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS”, “SCROOGE” and “THE SECRET GARDEN”, and, following in that tradition of contemporary adaptations of classic novels enjoyed by the whole family is “LITTLE WOMEN”.
This new adaptation of the well-loved tale played for a highly successful Christmas season in London’s West End in 2004 after originating at the Edinburgh Festival.
The heart-warming saga of the March sisters and their various adventures and romantic entanglements is beautifully realised in this ‘play with songs’ ! It looks set to be a magical experience!
